Greenberg's Guide to Gilbert Erector Sets
SORRY, BOTH VOLUMES ARE SOLD OUT!
When I wrote the Greenberg's Guides to Erector Sets, I intended them to
be the ultimate reference for Erector Collectors. Each of these two
books contain a multitude of color pictures showing how the sets were
organized and packed when new, inventory lists that identify the type
and quantity of parts that were included in each set, tips for dating
sets, and a complete pricing guide.
Volume I covers the sets
produced between 1913 and 1932, and gives detailed information on the
Style I sets (1913-1923) as well as for the highly prized Classical
Period sets (1924-1932). You will learn how A C Gilbert's most
wonderful invention evolved to become one of the most popular and enduring
toys of all time.
Volume II covers the sets produced between 1933
and 1962, and gives detailed information on the Transition Period Sets
(1933-1945) and the Renaissance Period Sets (1946-1962) so well remembered
by us Baby- Boomers. You will learn about Erector's decline, and the
termination of the traditional sets in 1962.
